The Interface Designer provides a complete suite of tools for designing, styling, and adding functionality to a user interface.



In Bright Engine, the user interface of a game is broken up into “Elements”. This to help keep the project organized without having enormous UI files. Each Element is designed to contain all the widgets for a specific part of the overall interface. For example, a Main Menu could be a UI element, the player’s action bar could be another, and so forth.

Each element can contain as many widgets as required. And can be re positioned on the screen to where ever needed.

Similar to the World Editor, you can select which element to edit by selecting it form the drop-down list in the top right-hand corner.
